Kathleen Barnes is passionately committed to a natural way of life and to making life better for everyone.
She remembers the days, more than 30 years ago, when “alternative” medicine translated to “weird and strange” and only hippies lived in homes with solar panels and composting toilets.
As a yoga teacher trained in the 1970s, Kathleen was at the forefront of a health movement that has shaped our world today. Then, yoga and meditation were far outside the mainstream of society. Today, yoga classes are found in YMCAs, hospital nursing homes, army bases and virtually everywhere.
That’s only one way of saying that alternative lifestyles have a way of becoming mainstream.
Since those days, Kathleen has become an advocate for natural living through her many books and magazine articles.
